Two Months Later: Jerome Russell Punky Colour Update

So it has been 2 months since I dyed my hair with Punky Colour Midnight Blue and Atlantic Blue. I want to give a quick update.

I dyed my hair ~ Feb 15 and now 2 months later without any touch up and only 1 week of colour safe shampoo (lol I ran out so I had to use regular shampoo for 7 weeks lol).

I couldn't believe my hair is still soooooooo vibrant!! The below image is with flash but it really looks like this without flash. Actually people at my workplace said to me "Wow, Ashley, that green is really staying in eh?" ////////////

Since I dyed it with two different shades, I want to show you how differently the faded.

Review: Punky Colour by Jerome Russell Hair Dye (Image Heavy)

I've wanted to dye my hair a funky colour for almost a year. I didn't really go through with it until 2 months ago. I did a lot of research but I couldn't get myself to do it due to my job. But after my friend Zoe recommended me Punky Colour, I decided yolo, let's do it!

I originally wanted Howl's hair colour

I knew that you have to get almost white hair to achieve blue but I thought even if fail, it would hopefully turn Alpine Green (as you can tell below, I actually want Alpine Green too since I also bought the dye for it) . So this is my adventure.

Circle Lenses Review - Bunny Color Brown from Klenspop

Klenspop was kind enough to send over Bunny Color Brown for me to review. Below is the picture on the website.

Comfort: 5/5 These lenses are very comfy! They are slightly thinner than most circle lenses but not nearly as thin as the Grang Grang lenses. They are easy to put in and you don't even realize you have lenses in! Perfect!

Colour: 4/5 Rarely do I like brown lenses but this pair...unf! The colour is vibrant and had a golden tone underneath. You really can see the light brown even in natural lighting.

Design: 5/5 One of my favourite things about this pair is the design. I don't know how they did it, but the design is natural yet supernatural. The details are subtle, with thin feathery lines but the colour payoff makes it look like a sun. I absolutely love it!

Enlargement: 2/5 Being a 14mm, it did just as it suppose to. But if you want a dolly, cute, enlargement, find another pair. 

Circle Lenses Review: Cara Violet from Klenspop

Welcome back! My blogger just crashed and I lost my post ;3;) ugh, even when I saved it as a draft. BOOOO. Anyway, I am here to review Cara Violet. These lense were sent by Klenspop for an honest review.

Comfort (3/5)

These were very comfy. It didn't even feel like I had lenses in. However, I only worn them for 3 hours so I can't really say how long they last. I think they are on the thicker side, which is a pro for me (lol easier to put in).

Circle Lenses Review: Xie Brown and Xie Black from Klenspop

I'm back~ How's everyone going? I started work this term with coop and I'm soooo happy~~ People are sooo nice at my workplace and the tasks are very fulfilling. Anyway, let's start on the review. Klenspop decided to sponsor me with 3 pairs of lenses this time! Wowww! Thank you soooooo much! They let me chose one pair from the list and gave me 2 pairs that are required to review. I chose Cara Violet (review coming soon) and the two below, Xie Brown and Xie Black were required.

Comfort (3/5)

These were okay. They don't "disappear" in my eyes (aka "I know that I have contacts in my eyes" feeling). I worn them for about 2 hours and they didn't dry up on me. I know 2 hours isn't a lot but I had to review some other lenses.

My 1st Taobao Haul (Using Taobaoring) + Item Review

I ordered this haul with my friends last year? I finally decided to post this. Ooops. In total it costed about $200. I bought it using Taobaoring, you can see my review here. I think in total, it wasn't THAT worth it. Sure, you are getting it from the source but honestly paying the items' price in shipping hurts D:

Circle Lenses Review: Fireworks Ver 3 Blue from Beauty Lenses

Hi hi! I’m back with another review. I took the photos back in Sept but never got time to write a review. Beauty Lenses provided the lenses. Thank you sooo much! And I am so very sorry that this took months to get up. Anyway, let’s start. I chose Fireworks Ver 3 Blue because of the design. Just look at it! On the website, the lenses are shown with a “firework” design. I was really curious.

From the images on the website, I thought they would be fairly blue and green but in real life, the lenses are almost black. It is a little disappointing. So I think if you are looking for a natural looking lenses with a bit of a kick, this would be pretty great. J However, this isn’t really what I am looking for. I already have dark eyes and I am not currently looking for this type of look. 2/5

Enlargement

Because these lenses are almost “black” and have a 15mm diameter they are very enlarging (not as much as GEO Grang Grang’s 16mm). I think if you are going for the dolly cute look, this will be a fun pair. 4/5

Design

The design is very pretty. Like I said before it is natural because the design can be barely seen from far away yet up real close you can see the ripples. So you don't have to worry about people questioning what’s wrong with your eyes. However, I am crazy (yes I am!). I like funky, odd, crazy things. So this is a little too “comfy” for me. 2/5

Circle Lenses Review: Sweet Magic Green from Beauty Lenses (aka GEO Dream Green)

I'm back!!! After summer school finished I finally had the time to sit down and write a review. Once again the wonderful Beauty Lenses provided this lenses. This time I picked Sweet Magic Green, aka GEO Dream Green.

Colour/Vibrancy

These lenses are surprisingly pigmented and rich.

• In low light environment, the green is a dark, rich forest green.
• In intense light environment, the green sparkles to that of bright, pigmented neutral green. See Photo Gallery below to see what I'm talking about.
• I think this pair of lenses is perfect for natural cosplay that doesn't require crazy looking eyes.

Design

• The design of the lenses is like snake scales or pixels. They look super cool close up!
• The limbus ring is awesome. It is not too crazy but just enough to make the lenses super dolly!
• These lenses are super shiny as well! 

Comfort

I wore it for 4-5 hours and one of them started to bug me a bit. It was probably a bit dry so that was why I wanted to rub my eyes. > 3 <

Enlargement

The website said it was a 14.5mm lens, but I think it was at least 15mm. It enlarged my eyes quite a bit, of course the limbus ring helped.

Overall

I absolutely adore this pair! The rich colour, and the dolly effect, I just LOVED it! I can tell that this is a pair that I will constantly reach for.

Circle Lenses Review: Glam Eye Luna Green from Beauty Lenses

Sorry for the late late late review!!! School got in the way so I had to push all my review back. In the end, everything got pushed back months! I'm so very sorry!

Once again Beauty Lenses was super nice to continue to sponsor me. I chose Glam Eye Luna Green this time because the modelled images where beautiful!

• Sorry but these were not like the pictures on the website. This is the first time after multiple encounter did the modelled picture on the website fail me.
• The colour was not vibrant! It kind of glowed like the EOS Bubble Series, where there's almost a filmy gloss and no define features. I really don't like this look because it makes your eyes look dead with no flash and scary with flash. You can see below how it kind of gloss over the eyes.
• The colour wasn't the rich grass green like the website but a fresh cucumber green.
• See "design" section photo to see the lenses in different lightings.

Circle Lenses Review: Magic Eye Easel Brown from Klenspop

The long awaited review!! My god, I wanted to review this MONTHS ago. I'm sorry that this was postponed until now.

The wonderful klenspop sponsored me with this. They let me choose and I chose Magic Eye Easel Brown. I was attracted by the gold colouring and it was so beautiful ;v;

Colour/Vibrancy:

When I first worn it, I wasn't sure I was going to like the colour but then OMG IT TOTALLY GREW ON ME. It looked soooo good in photography! The colour is a rich golden brown in flash.  With no flash, it is a milk chocolate brown. As for vibrancy, it is bright! You wouldn't be seeing my natural brown with these.

The thick limbal ring help enlarge my small eyes. ^^' I really like how the limbal ring wasn't black. It was a natural brown that is like the colour of my natural eyes.

Design:

The design of the lenses is BEAUTIFUL. It has a swirl, petal design that looks verrryyy interesting in photos.

Enlargement:

Being a 14.5mm lens, this actually was VERY enlarging. Normally a 14.5mm lens won't do much for me but this really was cute. Maybe it was the thick, yet natural limbal ring. It just blended so well with my natural eye colour.

Comfort:

I had no problem at all wearing this. I'm pretty I wore it up to 8 hours without any eye drops.

Overall:

Honestly, this lens became my favourite pair. Absolutely wonderful! I highly suggest it! :D
